The animation evolved into a more simple storyline where it's shown a boy living alone for years trying to survive and wanting to escape from the city above the water but the fear and attachment makes him traped and hard to leave but with the help of the man who stopped in the city to repair his own boat and with the other circumstance created in those first three minutes makes them connect and help each other to leave the city together.
